Anvil Co-working Studio- Group Project
The renovation of the Anvil fuses industrial design with sustainability to create a collaborative space where members can come together to express their ideas and accomplish their goals. Inspired by the industrial feel of the railroad and its connection to Purdue, this design brings people together through the connection of the railroad track. The Anvil will thus represent the crossing of paths. At this junction people will come together, exchange ideas and create bonds producing a space that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
5 Goals
1. Community – creating a space where people come together to make connections, collaborate and socialize
2. Flexibility – offering different working atmospheres that cater towards varying individual and group needs
3. Industrial – the overall feel of the space will represent the innovation and the forward thinking Anvil community and connect with the Purdue community ideals and history that surrounds them
4. Sustainability – an office design that is environmentally conscious and is committed to bettering the heath of its members
5. Inspirational – the Anvil is more than an office, it is a place for people to design, work hard and achieve their dreams and this space will reflect that
